Windows can't boot up
Anything not covered in the other sections like Computer trouble - Hardware Issues - Upgrades and other technical stuff to be asked in here please.
Hi, I installed windows 7 yesterday(on my other partition, while the one that won't boot, was installed) and the version I installed works perfectly but the older windows is missing OsLoader (Thats what Windows RE says). Then windows RE tried to repair it but I got these errors: File repair failed 0x5 and blablabla 0x490
I know that 0x5 means access denied or something.
How can I fix it ?

Did the older version of Windows boot before Windows 7 was installed?
@comathi There is no logic in reinstalling Win7 as this will not affect the bootloader that is installed on the other partition.

yes it did, I used it for more than a year
Umm no way why would I reinstall and lose all files while I have a fresh install without files already ?
Exactly, if you don't already have personnal files on your computer, it's safe to reinstall Windows.
Its not really the files , I can't reactivate my activated programs I got (especially the ones from GAOTD) thats why I want save my os instead of choosing the easy way
Ahh. I see. Well, I guess you could install linux on a part of the harddrive, then copy your files to an external drive or something, then reinstall Windows.

reinstalling = reactivating which I can't anymore
(I have auslogics boostspeed which is an awesome program and I don't want to lose it)
