Graphic & Video drivers
Anything not covered in the other sections like Computer trouble - Hardware Issues - Upgrades and other technical stuff to be asked in here please.
I have ATI Radeon graphics and it looks like its model x15-53899 and a "Ultimate Vision (AMD)" video card. Can somebody explain where to get the drivers and how to install them? Thanks.
Edit: The details might be wrong! My computer model is: Sony Vaio VPCEF2S1R

Well ok but what do i select if i have a x15-53899? And how do i uninstall the standard VGA adapter?
Do you have a desktop or a Laptop/Notebook?
What OS?
32x or 64x?
This will help me find the driver.

I can't seem to find the driver. You can try e-mailing them for help here:

You can find the graphics driver for this model from Sony: http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/v ... CEF2S1R_BI
Edit: It appears they only provide the 64-bit driver. If you ask Sony they should be able to help you.

how do i uninstall the standard VGA adapter? You don't need to uninstall this device as it is plug and play, it will be replaced when you load the correct drivers.

According to the Sony specs you should be able to use the Radeon HD 5650 driver, you can download the 32-bit version for Win7 here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/w ... n7-32.aspx
