Visual Basic for OS X
Post about and submit your favourite software for MAC.
http://www.microsoft.com/mac
It's not really new, but for thoughs that are unaware Microsoft Office is also available for OS 10, and it does have Visual Basic built into it.
Using it is simple, open up Microsoft Word, and make a new word document.
Then go to Tools/Macros and click on Visual Basic Editor.
NOTE: For thoughs that are unaware Microsoft Office isn't free, but OpenOffice is no doubt the best/closest free alternative to it, but unfortunately no Visual Basic.
However if you are a teacher or a student you can head to DreamSpark.com and get it completely for free as well as other Microsoft products. (Let me point out I don't know if DreamSpark works for Mac users so correct me if I'm wrong)

Monodevelop + GTKsharp can do this too :P
Hmm might come handy for me :P I do not like monodevelop, didn't know of GTKsharp either
Without GTKSharp you can't run your form applications (that are made in monodevelop)

I'm pretty sure the original purpose of the VB Macro was to create helpers for Word. Say, for example, you are tired of repeating the same line, you can make a Macro for that and it will do it for you.
well im asuming you can get xcode 3 for free since there is a button that saysXCode 3 is free but you have to be a Apple Developer or something like that.
