#28 Take Note... Again

Reusing a title. Creativity at its finest!

Last time I used this title for a challenge, your task was to create a post-it application similar to the one in Windows 7 or 8. This time, however, I challenge you to create an actual Notepad application, albeit with more features. You could, for example, add syntax-colouring, rich text support (fonts, font colours, images, bullets, etc.)
So, in short:
-Create a Notepad-like application
-The user must be able to load/save files in various formats (at least .txt)
-Add extra features for extra points
