Hi guys

I have started a little hobby project based on my desire too see beautiful aerial videos made for the Apple TV as my wallpaper
and so far its going well and i thought i would share my alpha build with all of you, i hope you guys like the concept even if your not interested in the using it.

So far i have only tested it on my Windows 10 PC, It requires the .Net Framework 4.5.2, a decent internet connection until i work on offline capabilities and probably a decent PC
that will allow you to play 1080p video without a noticeable CPU drain.

I have noticed that while the video is playing windows detects this and prevents monitor off, screen saver and sleep mode timers.
To remedy this issue i have added custom inputs to override this issue but unfortunately i have not yet been able to discover a method to detect video playback in the windows environment from my application (if you have any methods of doing this i would appreciate any help).

So here's the link let me know what you think cheers:
Download Here

Cheers,
Smiley :)

This sounds interesting. I'll check it out. Any plans for 1440p?

Thanks for the interest the videos used in this alpha are sourced from apple which at the time only had very low quality 1080p but happily since the release of apple tv 4k the following links can be added to the weblist text file and all are 2160p crisp :)

from the error message your getting i'm thinking there may be some corruption with your windows media player components.
in the further development i did with this project i abandoned wmp and used mplayer due to its lack of external dependencies and zero interference with windows sleep timers but have at this point scrapped the project altogether if i revisit this project i'll let you know.
