I just bought a playstation 3 super slim and I dont like it! :x
Everytime I insert a new game it wants to do an update that takes 30 - 40 minutes and I can't cancel it.
When the updates are finished I don't even want to play the game anymore.
And the WiFi doesn't work so I have to use the ethernet cable from my computer.

Does anyone know why the playstation askes for a update everytime I insert a new game?

as far as wifi,
Do you have wifi at home?
Did you allow PS3 to connect to the wifi?
Do you have the wifi secure login information?

if none of these are any help.

Ummm Every game has a patch and has to update this is "Natural", as on my xbox i buy new game they update and make patches for it so it asks to update to install the info and also to make the game load faster, as for wifi you may have it installed wrong or setup incorrectly. @ #DeveloperJacob

It has to do less updates now (shorter time) and I have a ethernet cable for the ps3. wahooo;
