When I first downloaded NeoTextureEdit I double clicked the .jar file assuming it would run the program, but instead I viewed it's files. So I'm going to show you how to not only run the program, but view it's files as well.

Running .jar Program:
1) Now first off you're going to need to install the OpenJDK Java Runtime Packages
2) Now view the .jar file's properties (right click the .jar file/properties)
3) Go to the "Permissions" tab and make sure you check "Allow Executing File As Program".
4) Select the "Open With tab, and open it with "OpenJDK Java 6 Runtime".

Opening .jar Program: (Viewing It's Files)
1) Now first off view the .jar file's properties (right click the .jar file/properties)
2) Go to the "Permissions" tab and make sure you have "Allow Executing File As Program" unchecked.
3) Select the "Open With tab, and open it with "Archive Manager".
